JFIF is not a format, it is a filename
JFIF stands for JPEG File Interchange Format, and it is the container almost every "JPEG" already uses. A file ending .jfif is a JPEG. Windows produces them when saving certain images from a browser, which is why people meet the extension and assume it is something exotic.
So there is nothing to convert in the usual sense. Renaming the file to .jpg makes it open everywhere, at zero cost and with no re-encoding. If you genuinely want PNG — for transparency, or because something requires it — this page will do that, and the result will be larger than the original, because PNG is lossless and photographs do not compress losslessly.
We would rather tell you the rename works than take the conversion.
Nothing is uploaded
The conversion runs in this tab. There is no upload step, so no queue, no daily limit and no account — and you can disconnect from the network and it still works. The same engine powers theimage converter, which handles any combination and unlimited batches, and theimage compressor, which makes a file smaller without changing its format. Both sit underConverters.
