Using the tools
The tools are free to use, including for paid client work. You do not need an account and there is no usage limit. Output you create with them — palettes, colour values, exported code — is yours. We claim nothing in it.
What we do not promise
The tools implement published standards as accurately as we can, and the contrast engine is covered by an automated test suite. Even so, they are provided as they are, without warranty. A passing result here is not a certification of accessibility conformance. Automated contrast checking covers one criterion out of many, and a real audit involves things software cannot see. Please do not treat a green result as legal cover.
Availability
We intend to keep this site up and free. We cannot promise uptime, and tools may change or be withdrawn. Because everything runs client-side, a page you have already loaded keeps working even if the site does not.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links earn us a commission. They are marked wherever they appear. A commission never changes what we recommend, and we do not accept payment for placement or for a favourable review.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of this site, including decisions made on the basis of a tool's output.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
